John Shirley ~ Fly Fishing Guide
Hi, my name is John Shirley. I have been guiding on the Bighorn River since 1999. I have always had a passion for the outdoors. I was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana and grew up fishing the Missouri River and the small streams of that area.As of May 2002, I was fortunate enough to become manager of Eagle Nest Lodge. Since then my duties have increased, but still include guiding, which I truly enjoy. What better office can a guy have, then on the Bighorn River catching monster fish?
I used to have a lot more "off" time that I could spend catching fish and hunting birds. I don't have as much"off" time now as I did then, but any spare moment I do have you can spot me on the Horn or in my duck blind just down the river from here.
