Soft hackle Ray Charles have been doing well in gray and pink size 16 – 18. Try the sowbug patterns in a soft hackle too in similar colors and sizes. Worm patterns are still strong, in the wire variation as well as the San Juans. Use sizes 4 to 8 in red, orange. Don’t forget your split shot, you’ll need it. 2 or 3 BBs or a single 3/0 should suffice.
