Fishing the best!

The lodge itself is so comfortable and incredibly clean. After 6 years, I know what I am in store for. John and Rebecca, along with staff and guides have become more like friends. Sherri was a highlight as she is an excellent Chef!

The fly fishing, the guide, and John and Rebecca Shirley as hosts are the Best we’ve experienced any where!

Adam was patient, knowledgeable, fun, and easy going- a joy to be around on the river. The meals were AMAZING- some of the best meals I have EVER, EVER had. Salmon, lamb, beef tenderloin, pork, made to order breakfast- even the lunches on the river were excellent and well made.No recommendations- this place is easily Lodge of the Year! Lee S. Durham, NC

John and Rebecca are wonderful hosts, the guide was outstanding, and I felt right at home at the lodge. Fishing was terrific. Sam was great in selecting the proper flies, took me to the most productive places on the river, coached me on bringing in the big rainbows. He was ourstanding. Ken W. Naples, FL

John and Rebecca run a great lodge. The combination of hospitality, scenery, quality guides and quality fishing made this one of the most enjoyable fishing trips I have been on. I would not change anything.

Exceptional Experience at Eagle Nest Lodge

I had an exceptional experience at Eagle Nest – John and Becca were wonderful hosts; the staff at the lodge were exceptional; the food was great; and our guide David was very knowledgeable, patient, and hard-working. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! All the meals were great. The dinners were phenomenal. The breakfasts were hearty and exactly to order. The lunches on the river hit the spot. This was my first fishing trip of this type and it completely exceeded my expectations in that the lodge was impeccable and the hosts and staff were so friendly and customer-centric. Hell, even the dogs were great! Honestly, I’m not sure I’d have any suggestions for improvements. It was all to my satisfaction. ——Justin J. Texas

10th Trip to Eagle Nest Lodge
